Delia Howling Wolf

Delia Howling Wolf, is an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes her name is Yellow Blossom (Oragabagi ciidish-Hidatsa). She is the granddaughter of Philip Baker and Delia (Montclair) Baker. Daughter of William and Ethel (Baker) Reeves. Delia lives with her husband, Carroll Howling Wolf, Jr and son, Percy Howling Wolf in New Town

Delia was born in Washington DC. She graduated from Rockville High School Rockville, Maryland and completed her AAS Degree at Haskell Indian Jr. College in Lawerence, Kansas.

Delia startd her federal service at Indian Health Service Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. She has worked at the Diabetes Program for last 21 years. Her current position is Medical Support Assistant. She loves working for the Diabetes Program assisting patients. Delia works with all aspects of the Diabetes Program which includes diabetes specialty clinics and schedules appointments for patients for diabetes nutrition, and physical activity education.

Delia has five children and 15 grandchildren. She enjoys watching them dance at pow-wows, play sports, and these days Snapchat and FaceTime. She won’t learn TikTok though. Over the years, Delia has seen the Diabetes Program become an intergral part of everyday life for people with diabetes.
