Big Mac Salad

Ingredients – 6 servings

  • 1-pound lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8-ounce lettuce
  • 1 cup of tomatoes
  • 3/4 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickles diced
  • Green onions, 1-bunch
  • Thousand island for dressing

Instructions

  1. Add the ground beef or turkey to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Break apart with spatula and season with the seasoned salt and pepper. Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and moisture has evaporated. 
  2. Meanwhile, dice tomatoes, separate and clean lettuce, dice onions and chop pickles. 
  3. Place lettuce in bowl, add 1/2 cup beef, 2 tablespoons tomatoes, 1 tablespoon pickles, onions, 2 tablespoons cheese, 1 tablespoon dressing.
