Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Ingredients – serving 4

  • 2 cups grated cauliflower, from the florets
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1.  Grate the cauliflower with a box grater, use the florets, you can also use a food processor, remove the florets and pulse with the food processor until the mixture is the texture of gravel.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  3. Heat 2 cups of grated cauliflower in a skillet, this will dry the cauliflower out and cook it, stir and continue to cook until there is less steam, don’t let the cauliflower get brown.
  4. Let the cauliflower cool.
  5. Mix the cooled grated cauliflower, 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, 1 egg beaten, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended.
  6. Put the dough on a baking dish covered with parchment paper.
  7. Use you clean hands to make into any shape, make sure the shape is even and 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Bake the cauliflower crust for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown.
  9. Add your pizza sauce toppings and baker for about 10 minutes more. 
  10. Carefully put the pizza on a cooking rack to the crust doesn’t get steamy from leaving on the parchment paper. After 5 minutes put the pizza on the pan and cut and eat.
